According to the designer the idea of using shoe silhouettes struck them. When they went to the camper headquarters in Majorca, where they saw how a flat leather' magically was structured into a three dimensional object with the help of mould and stitches. "And we thought we would love to design the shop's interiors in a same way but using different material. So we took MDF boards and cut them into various shoe shapes - high heels, flats, ow heels, for Women, men and Children - and placed their two dimensional profiles side by side so that a new three dimensional shape Could be achieved.", says the designer.

Hence, when the customer enters the shop they are greeted with the interiors that are made from shoes silhouettes stitched together to form benches, support tables, display tables and irregular surfaces that reflect distorted images making the shoe shopping a fun experience.

According to the designers footwear forms an integral part of any wardrobe hence it should be comfort able and of a perfect fit, so the interiors have been kept simple yet artistic enough for the customers to step into the store once and feel relaxed While Selecting the perfect pair of footwear.

Designed in a modest space the shop is a shoe shopper's delight as the design and the asymmetrical Surfaces that reflect distorted images make shopping a happy and relaxing experience. Silhouettes cut in various shapes and sizes are turned upside down to form benches where one can sit and try the selection of shoes that are on display and in the meantime children can amuse them-selves by looking at their distorted reflections on the steel-clad Surfaces.

"Children get bored easily if the shopping is not for them and keeping them occupied during Shopping becomes a real task and that's where the use of irregular Surfaces Comes handy. While the parents are busy shopping for their perfect pair their children are busy amusing themselves with the Surfaces that makes them appear Sometimes fat, lean, distorted, and upside down," says Benedetta.

With the use of malleable steel flowing over the profiles of the shoes the design seems to flow from one Corner to the other and the profiles take you to a fantasy World Where the giant - sized shoes Stacked in a neat row are waiting to be adorned by you.

The Vituti was directed by a board of trustees and employed a manager and staff to provide services for travelling Nakarattars. These services included, in addition to provision of lodging and meals, provision of mailing facilities, making travel arrangements, Clearing baggage at local customshouses, and arranging for absentee prayers at local temples. In short, vitutis were extremely useful in the mobile world of the Nakarattar. Vitutis were normally financed primarily by large gifts or endowments (kattalais) and operating costs were also subscribed through endowment. In addition, every guest paid what amounted to a nominal rent (called makinai, like the Nakarattar religious tithe) fixed by the manager of each Vituti and subject to revision according to need.
