It is the device mounted on the exterior or interior of a door for the purpose of opening it. Some models come with an in-built lock while some require an additional lock.

Bolts and locks:
A lock is a mechanical device used to secure possessions, and it can be used with keys or number locks. You need to have a reliable lock to secure your door. Bolts usually refer to a type of fastener used to fasten the doors. There is a huge range of bolts and locks available in the market.
