Based on the hub and Spoke model (Page 2)
Already 13 companies have planned to set up offices at the Infopark in Koratty. The first company to be operating from Infopark Koratty is Bluelabs Technology solutions.
The park developed in 30 acres at the end of the second phase will have IT buildings of approximately 70,000 sq ft area with plug and play facilities. And the third phase will see the state's private builders performing a role. After completion, the Park will have a direct employment potential of about 6,000 IT professionals.
Ajay Kumar, secretary for IT, Government of Kerala opined, "The growth of Infoparks is on the lines of a self-contained township on a dispersed model of development that does not produce demand on one place and yet provides the best social development and capital infrastructure."
Kerala IT, a government of Kerala initiative, is offering opportunities to IT companies, professionals, investors, developers and service providers in the state with its numerous initiatives in Kerala-Technopark-Thiruvananthapuram, Infopark-Kochi and cyberpark-Kozhikode, which are being promoted to act as the hubs while satellite centers are being developed at Kollam, Ambalapuzha, Cherthala, Thrissur, Koratty, Kannur and Kasaragod as spokes. KSITI, Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Ltd will aid in the development of IT infrastructure.
THe End.
